Rent a house

Would you like to rent a house through Bricks Twente? Follow our 3 step plan!

Step 1

Simply make a selection of suitable rental properties based on your housing needs and criteria. Important factors are your budget, the desired location, the desired start date, the surface and other living requirements such as an outdoor space or parking space. Of course there are income requirements associated with renting a house, apartment or studio.

Step 2

Have you found an interesting house, apartment or studio? Please contact us. Before we schedule an appointment to view the property, the rental agent will discuss the conditions with you, such as;
Is your income sufficient to rent the desired house? Number of people who want to live in the house Desired start date and the desired term Do you own a pet(s)?
If you are eligible to rent the house, we will schedule a viewing with you. During the viewing, you can take a detailed look at the property together with the rental agent and of course ask all your questions. Are you not on site to visit for yourself? We also regularly conduct viewings via Skype or Facetime. You still have the opportunity to view the property, walk around virtually and ask the rental agent questions.

Step 3

If you actually want to rent the house, we request that you register for free and upload, among other things, income data and a copy of your proof of identity. The data submitted by you and your creditworthiness will be checked. In case of proven suitability, we will submit a proposal to the landlord of the house. When the landlord accepts you as a tenant, we ask you to sign a rental agreement. After signing the acceptance statement and receiving the deposit, we will remove the advertisement from the website and draw up the rental agreement. You will receive the rental agreement, together with the statutory General Provisions, well before the date of key transfer. So that you have the time to go through it at your leisure. You will receive the payment overview for the 1st month's rent and the deposit at the same time as the rental agreement. This amount must be credited to our account before the key transfer. During the delivery you will receive the keys and together with you we will draw up an extensive initial inspection report with photos, of which both you and the landlord will receive a signed copy.

  4. Landlord's statement if you come from a rented home

 

Entrepreneur

  1. Copy of passport or ID
  2. Extract from the Chamber of Commerce with valid identification of an authorized person
  3. Recent IB declaration in the past 2 years
