Rent out a house

You want to rent out a property

There is a lot to consider when renting out a house or apartment. You are looking for a decent tenant and you want it to be based on a rental agreement in which the agreements made are clearly stated. During the rental period you want pleasant contact with the tenant and receive the rent on time. Finally, you want the house to be returned in good condition at the end of the rental period.

Working method Bricks Twente

Together we look at the property to be rented out, after which Bricks Twente will issue an optimal recommended rental price. All this taking into account the WWS (Housing Valuation System, also referred to as the tenancy commission scoring system), rent legislation and any rent protection of the tenant. Bricks Twente then takes photos and writes texts in order to draw up a promotional advertisement. This advertisement is placed in both Dutch and English on the most important rental websites (Funda.nl, Pararius.nl, Expatrentals.com and many others). Reactions to the advertisement are checked by Bricks Twente and a selection is made of candidates with whom we will view the house. In addition, the object is of course also offered within our own network. These are mostly HR departments of internationally operating companies (such as Grolsch, MST, University of Twente, Apollo Vredestein, Universal Electronics, etc.) but also the Expat Center East Netherlands, of which we are business partners.

We arrange everything

Ultimately, as the owner, you always choose which candidate you think fits best in your home. We will then request the necessary documents from this candidate (income data, identification, etc.) and perform a screening. The tenancy agreement is digitally signed by both the tenant and the landlord. Bricks Twente does the check-in and key transfer in the house itself, whereby a report is made in which the condition of the house is displayed through many photos. Meter readings and key numbers are also noted in this check-in report. During the check-out, the condition of the property is then compared with the condition as it was at the check-in.
